On behalf of the Reynolds Veterans Association, Inc., let me thank all of you for your contributions this spring. We are very grateful to Dick and Wendy for having an event that they ask their guests to make such donations to worthwhile charities and organizations.
We continue our work with the Active Duty Rehab Unit at the Augusta VA and with the Warrior Transition Battalion at the Eisenhower Hospital at Ft Gordon. We are pleased to tell all that the patient load is down at the ADRU but the census at Ft Gordon is still high with a large number of soldiers leaving active duty with various medical conditions from combat theater related injuries to PTSD.
We are excited about a new venture with our veteran population that we are researching and that is their education once off of active duty. We will share more of this with the entire Reynolds community as we have more information and data to work from. We are grateful that the patient loads are declining. This says that fewer of our young men and women are being injured while in harms way.
